Girvan Bowling Club compete in local tournament
A TOTAL of 44 members of Girvan Bowling Club competed in the Hendrie’s Balloted Pairs competition, sponsored by the popular local butchers business.
The tourney was played in sunny but breezy conditions, and it proved an enjoyable day’s bowling.
Finalists emerged as Alistair Scobie and Sadie Bonner versus Colin Everett and Hugh Milroy, with the latter pair victorious.
President Margaret Gaff thanked everyone involved in the organisation of the day, especially sponsors John McIntosh and Tom Brown of Hendrie’s butchers, for their generous support.
