Four Ayr Seaforth teams have qualified for the finals of the Scottish Indoor League.
Heading to the Emirates Stadium in Glasgow on February 24 are the girls’ under 11 and under 15 teams and the boys’ under 13 and under 15 teams.
Six teams were in contention after the second of three qualifying matches so Seaforth were very satisfied at the final representation.

●Two Seaforth men’s teams took part in the Scottish vets relays at Strathclyde Park.
A close contest between the two was expected despite one team running in the over 35 category and the other in the over 50s.
Both coped well with blustery conditions and only 26 seconds separated the teams after over 90 minutes of racing.
Over 35s, 17th: Colin Soutar 22.38, David Hughes 22.58, Ian Young 25.28, Stuart Brockie 24.29. Total: 95.33 mins.
Over 50s, 6th: Peter Laing 23.02, Paul Turnbull 23.52, Laurence Baker 22.52, Tom McCulloch 26.13. Total 95.59 mins.
