BURNS TROUT FISHERY (Tarbolton): most of the fishery was kept open last weekend. Depending how cold the weather gets this week, efforts will be made to keep as much open as possible. For latest fishing conditions, phone the pond on 07527 405715 or go to Burns page on Facebook.

Catches: fly pond: D Gordon two for 5lb 12oz, W Lyall two for 5lb 12oz, R Lyall two for 5lb 12oz, J McCormack one for 3lb 2oz, H Cassidy two for 5lb, S Morrison two for 4lb 7oz.

Bait pond: L Miller four for 8lb 2oz, Kim two for 4lb 6oz, R Purdie two for 5lb 4oz, B Markson one for 2lb 6oz, T McNaught two for 4lb 4oz, D Black two for 4lb, M Ferguson two for 4lb, D Brown one for 1lb 12oz.

BROOMHILL FLY & COARSE FISHERY (Patna/Rankinston B730): ponds are frozen this week but everyone will be informed when they are clear of ice.

Coarse pond : Fishery is frozen but can open pegs if you want to fish, just contact the fishery. The second round of the D&T security winter league is on Sunday.
