BURNS TROUT FISHERY
(Tarbolton):
It was possible to keep some of the bait pond and some of the fly pond open. The fishery will continue to try and keep as much of the ponds open as possible but weather depending.

Some of the catches this week were as follows: on the fly pond: David Strachan two for 5lb, The Rev from Irvine two for 4lb 3oz, S Brennan one for 2lb, B Young one for 2lb, D Watson two for 4lb 7oz.
On the bait pond: J Young four for 8lb 12oz, J Lothian two for 4lb 3oz, big Kim three for 8lb 12oz, R Woolley three for 7lb, D Cairns two for 4lb.
BROOMHILL FLY & COARSE FISHERY
(Patna/Rankinston B730): frost and ice affected fishing towards end of week.
Fly report :
Jack Bradley four c/r one approximately 5/6lbs, D. Wales two kept 5lb 3oz, T. Hopkins five c/r, Stevie muir (Glasgow) three c/r, R. Bilson three c/r.
Coarse pond:
