Look out Australia.
Prestwick bowler Paul Foster is heading to Adelaide on a high after winning a record eighth title on the World Bowls tour.
On Saturday, he added the Scottish Open to his impressive list of titles when he beat England’s Nicky Brett 11-5, 9-8 at Perth.
Foster maintained his 100 per cent record in singles finals with some fine play knocking the ever consistent Englishman out of his stride.
It gave him his second Scots title after his 2009 win at the same venue.
The win leaves the Troon taxi boss in great heart for the world outdoor championships Down Under. They run from November 24 to December 9.
Also heading to Oz are Auchinleck’s Claire Johnston and Michelle Cooper (Ardrossan) while David Gourlay of Annbank is the team coach.
