PRESTWICK beat the rain - and league leaders Stoneywood Dyce - for the second time after dumping them from the Scottish Cup.
On a damp Oval track, the home side were bowled out for 111 in 44.3 overs but it still proved enough.
With Willie Rowan (4-18) and Gavin Pitt (3-11) on fire, Prestwick ripped through the Dyce attack to skittle them for 83 in 38 overs and win by 28 runs.
Rowan, who took the wicket first ball of star man Jan Stander, then moved on to Edinburgh where he was on the groundstaff for the Scotland v England match. The teenager bowled to English players in the nets.
The 2nd X1 beat Weirs at home in Division Three of the Western Union. Chasing 165-8, Prestwick eased home at 166-2 with top scores from Jim Johnstone (58 not out), Phil Stafford (38 not out) and Mark Morrison (34).
The under 15s beat Ferguslie last Wednesday with Fraser Rodger hitting a magnificent unbeaten 110 in a total of 140-4. In reply, the home side were held to 124-4. The under 11s beat Poloc at home.

The 1st X1 fixture away to Clydesdale was called off early last Saturday morning. However, the Cambusdoon XI crushed Anniesland at home to consolidate second place.
Ayr racked up 249-3 with Richie Borland hitting 116 not out and skipper Alan McCrossin on 86. In reply, Anniesland were bowled out for 107. Derek Cooper was the pick of the bowlers with 3-16.
