Fans wait for World Cup prediction from Paul the pyschic octopus

A TWO-YEAR-OLD octopus from a German acqarium has correctly predicted the outcome of Germany's games in this year's FIFA World Cup.

Paul who has become a worldwide star, has been picking his desired winning teams from his home at Oberhausen Sea Life Aquarium - much to the amazement of staff and visitors.

The octopus who was born in Weymouth, is presented with two food containers with mussels inside and one displaying the German flag and the other displaying the opposing team.

Paul then chooses his preferred box and his prediction is made.
