Lorry shunts car at 60mph on motorway

A WOMAN who's car was shunted along the motorway by a lorry has spoken about the ordeal after footage showing the incident was posted on the internet.

Terrified Rona Williams (31) from York said she thought she was going to die when her car ended up in the path of the lorry.

In the footage, the lorry driver, who appears not to have seen the car, continues along the motorway driving at around 60pmh pushing the car along the road with sparks flying out.  

Remarkably, Rona walked away unscathed from the crash.

Police have reopened their investigation into the incident which occurred on the A1 near Yorkshire, after seeing the footage.
