Man held after street disturbance
A 46-year-old man has been arrested following a disturbance in a city street.
Police in Edinburgh are investigating after an alleged assault in Magdalene Drive.
Officers have been conducting door-to-door inquiries and want to speak to anyone who saw the disturbance late on Saturday and early Sunday.
A Lothian and Borders Police spokesman said: "A 46-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with this alleged incident and is due to appear at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Monday."
