Woman arrested after flat death

A woman has been arrested in connection with the death of a 23-year-old following a disturbance at a flat.

Jordan McGuire was found with serious injuries at a property in Shettleston Road in Glasgow on Thursday morning.

Mr McGuire, from Ballantrae in Girvan, South Ayrshire, was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary where he died shortly after being admitted, said Strathclyde Police.

The 31-year-old woman is the second person to be arrested in connection with the death after a 23-year-old man was arrested on Friday.

Both are due to appear at Glasgow Sheriff Court on Monday.
