Council confidence 'remains low'

Confidence in a council's leadership "remains low" despite repeat attempts to improve performance, a report revealed.

Criticism was aimed at West Dunbartonshire Council more than two years after a series of recommendations were drawn up to improve services.

The Accounts Commission said councillors "have not been sufficiently engaged" with the agenda.
