Labour MP faces vote on future

A Labour MP is facing deselection after the party's executive agreed to allow a vote on her future.

Activists have already signalled they want to choose a new candidate to stand in Anne Moffat's East Lothian constituency, which is held by Labour's Scottish leader Iain Gray at Holyrood.

The party's National Executive Committee (NEC) agreed to the request to make a formal decision, paving the way for a local meeting within the next couple of weeks.
