MSPs back homecoming evaluation
Independent consultants will be hired to evaluate the year-long Homecoming celebrations, MSPs agreed today.
External firms will be invited to compete for the contract, which will be assisted by the Scottish Parliament's own research unit.
Homecoming, which marked the 250th anniversary of Robert Burns' birth, was intended to attract Scots back from around the world in a celebration of culture.
