Fisherman injured in North Sea

A fisherman is being treated in hospital after being injured in the North Sea.

The man is being treated for a suspected fracture to his ribs and a broken arm in Gilbert Bain Hospital in Shetland, after he was airlifted to the shore by a medical helicopter.

Aberdeen coastguard were called to the Mai Mai fishing vessel, floating 80 miles east of Sumburgh in the North Sea.
