Angler's body recovered by police

The body of a man who was swept away while fishing on a river has been recovered by police, it has been announced.

Tayside Police said that David Hentges had been fishing with his father on the Kercock fishing beat near Kinclaven, on the River Tay, on August 1, when he was overcome by the water.

During a week-long search, police officers and the Tayside Fire and Rescue service were helped by local gillies and fishery workers.
