Date set for Trump golf course

Donald Trump plans to start building his £1 billion golf resort in Scotland in November, it has been disclosed.

The US property tycoon has set a target of November 1 to begin work on the main championship course in Aberdeenshire, which he has claimed will be the "best in the world".

Plans for the Menie Estate development, which include two courses, a hotel, 500 houses and 950 holiday homes, were unveiled almost three years ago.
