Gay-row minister inducted to church

A gay minister whose appointment came close to causing a damaging rift in the Church of Scotland is due to be officially inducted before his new congregation.

Rev Scott Rennie will affirm his beliefs at a special service at Queen's Cross Church in Aberdeen.

The 37-year-old, who was married, has the support of a majority of his 500-strong congregation.
