MRS Riley and Mrs McIntosh recently accompanied sixteen S5 pupils to a lovely Christmas meal in Shanghai Rendezvous in Ayr. Pupils looked stunning in their posh outfits and had really made an effort and their behaviour and manners were impeccable.
Well done to all who made an effort on such a cold Wednesday evening.
ON the last Friday of term the pupils of Queen Margaret Academy had a hilarious afternoon of fun as Cilla Black‘s wee brother Cilly Campbell of the social subjects department made history by hosting QMAs very own version of Blind Date.
Contestants consisted of Mr McPherson - a cowboy, Miss McLean - a rock star, Miss Smith- a ned, Mrs Rogerson a Grannie, Mr Devlin and Mr MacKaye who were Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum, and last but not least Mr Mannwho was a Goth named Spider.
Sixth year pupils included Sean McPhail, Daniella Mancini, Emily Fitzpatrick and Joanna McGuigan.
The runaway winners of the show were Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum but there were lots of laughs before they were finally chosen.
Cilly Black was an outstanding success dressed in red wig and a sophisticated green skirt and jacket.
£500 pounds was raised by the XL Club and Mr Boles and this will go to school funds and charity.
