A TRIO of South Ayrshire primary schools were given top marks when inspectors visited them.
Kingcase pupils were hailed as being well-behaved, polite and articulate when Her Majesty’s Inspectors turned up at the Prestwick primary.
And the leadership of the head teacher and deputy head teacher were also praised in the report.
At Forehill school in Ayr the pupils were found to be friendly and engage well in the life and work of the school.
Inspectors also noted the positive and productive interactions between nursery staff and children.
Colmonell primary was found to have hard-working pupils and a team of staff who are committed to developing active learning experiences for pupils.
