PUPILS at Dundonald Primary have been busy collecting for Scottish International Relief.
Pupils, families and friends supplied old school bags and everyday school items for distribution to poor communities around the world.
The pupil council organised the effort, and collected, sorted and packed 60 bags during September.
Tom McGowan of charity Mary’s Meals picked up the bags for children in Malawi and Liberia.
Mrs Jane Houston, head teacher, said she was delighted with the generous response of families and friends of Dundonald Primary School, and thanked everyone for their support for the project.
