THE autumn term is a busy time in Wellington School’s infant department.
Pat McLaren, assistant head of the department said: “So much is achieved through active learning, both in and out of school, bringing excitement, success and pleasure to children.”
“Instrumental lessons, lunchtime clubs and Eco-schools committees all have a part to play in education and all pupils are encouraged to make a contribution to the wider school and community life.”
An open afternoon will be held from 2pm on Wednesday, October 22, when visitors will be able to tour not just the infant and primary departments but all other parts of the school.
