Hazard Heroes teaches South Ayrshire kids to keep safe

A HEROES Day attracted 1200 P7 pupils from all over South Ayrshire to safety demonstrations at Dam Park.

The safety promotion event was held over a three-week period and giving demonstrations were representatives from Strathclyde Police; British Transport Police; HM Coastguards; NHS Ayrshire and Arran; Strathclyde Fire and Rescue service, and volunteers from the crime prevention panel, who taught the kids how to make an emergency call.

It was the turn of pupils from Maidens Primary and Wellington School, Ayr, to attend the event when our photographer took pictures of some of the activities.
