Ayrshire Kids safety event to be funded by fire service cash

KIDS all over Ayrshire will reap the rewards of a donation made to the local fire service.

The cash will sponsor this year’s kids’ safety event.

The long-established initiative run by Strathclyde Fire and Rescue sees school kids all over the area coming together and learning about safety through fun and interesting workshops.

This year’s partners include the British Transport Police, Carrick crime prevention panel, Headway Ayrshire, HM Coastguard, South Ayrshire environmental health department, Strathclyde fire and rescue and Strathclyde police.
