Brendan is new Wellington School assistant head

BRENDAN Farrelly, 33, is another new assistant head for Wellington School.

His responsibilities comprise being Head of Year for S3 and S4, SQA co-ordination, learning and teaching, and the curriculum.

Mr Farrelly, who read politics and sociology at the University of Glasgow, joins Wellington from Glasgow’s Kelvinside Academy.

He said: “Pupils in these classes are at a pivotal point in their school careers. So it’s my job to help make these years as productive and smooth as possible for them.”
