New Cumnock caravan park breach charge

A MAN has appeared in court charged with committing a breach of the peace at the caravan park he lives at.

Graham Perkins, 57, appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court on Monday after the alleged offence at Glenafton Caravan Park in New Cumnock.

He is accused of acting in a disorderly manner, shouting and swearing and committing a breach of the peace at the caravan site on Sunday, June 29.

A depute fiscal told the court that Perkins is already on bail for alleged offences there.

Defence lawyer Peter Lockhart told the court that his client has health problems and is on heavy medication and asked for bail.

The case was continued and Perkins was released on bail on the condition that he does not contact named neighbours at the caravan site.
