Historic Dumfries House hosts spectacular display

Remaining at Dumfries House, near Cumnock, don’t miss the second spectacular annual Fireworks Display being held in the estate grounds on Saturday, November 3.

The night sky will be lit up by the team who produced the spectacular celebrations for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations at Buckingham Palace this summer so this display should be a corker.

There will also be a variety of foodstalls to browse amongst and those who attend can enjoy discovering the mainly local fare from Ayrshire food producers.

Entry by ticket only, £6 per person, and these are available from the Coach House Cafe or call 01290 425959.

Please don’t attempt to park in the estate as this is not being allowed due to the sheer numbers of people being expected as last year 2,500 folk turned up to enjoy a display that was the talk of the area for weeks afterwards.

Everyone has to get there and back from the estate via a free Park and Ride Shuttle Bus Service from Cumnock Academy and Auchinleck Academy. The fun starts at 6.30pm so fingers crossed for a dry night.
