HE’S ready to rock – and wants you to be part of the action.
Musician Scott Nicol will take over part of Ayr town centre on Friday night for a video shoot. And people are invited to go along for their moment of fame.
Scott and his band, The Limitless Sky, will record their track New York Summer’s Day.
And hard-working Scott is hoping his popularity can bring a touch of Broadway to the video. He revealed: “We are hoping for a big hit with the song this summer.
“We’re going to get it out to as many record labels as possible and it has a really strong theme to it. The video will be a great chance for the public to get involved and it should be a lot of fun to shoot.”
The Lorne Arcade will provide the backdrop for the shoot, which starts at 7pm on Friday.
Prestwick man Scott added: “I’ve been working with the band for a year and a half now and we’re really enjoying ourselves.
“It would be great if this song provided us with the big break – I think it’s a blistering slab of pop/rock that rattles like a runaway train.”
The song, which has already had airplay in New York, is available to buy on iTunes and eatacd.com. Now, you could be part of the video which helps to launch the track worldwide.
Scott added: “We’d love to see as many people down at the Lorne Arcade as possible. It’s a real chance to get yourself in a music video and have great fun at the same time.
“Hopefully we create a really good atmosphere and that shows in the video.”
