The Stonehouse Violets in town
ALREADY the signs are looking good for indie rock outfit Stonehouse Violets as they have secured a regional finals slot at Live and Unsigned 2012, to be held March 31at the Royal Concert Hall, Glasgow.
This marks a fine start to the year for the band as competition was fierce to progress through the early auditions.
The lads Mikey Waugh (guitar and vocals), Stewart McWilliams (lead guitar), Chris Miracle (bass) & Scott Toastie Burns (drums) are based in Glasgow and hail from Dumfries, Alva, Kilwinning and Shawlands.
The band is seeking all your support to help get them through to the next round of the competition and is calling in all favours!
This year has already seen solid performances at Box, Glasgow, and a top-rated slot at The 101 Club, Dumfries, as part of The Big Burns Supper Festival. Further confirmed shows for 2012 include Pivo, Glasgow; The Eagle, Prestwick; and a prime time slot at Comlongon Rocks Festival, Dumfrieshire.
