Would-be rapist jailed for grooming 14-year-olds.

A PAEDOPHILE persuaded two girls to expose themselves over a web cam just months after being convicted of attempted rape.

Jamie Rudling, 23, preyed on the 14-year-old girls, who live in Ayr and Prestwick, and even arranged to meet up with one of the girls at Braehead shopping centre to have sex.

The vile pervert pleaded guilty to three charges when he appeared at Ayr Sheriff Court this week.

Between December 1 last year and May 1 this year, at his own address near Dunoon and an address in Prestwick, Rudling caused a 14-year-old to engage in sexual activity by exposing her breasts via a web cam.

He further admitted, between February 1 last year and May 1 this year, making arrangements to travel to meet with the girl to engage in sexual activity with her, or in her presence.

The third charge relates to another girl, Ruddling persuaded to expose her breasts and bottom via a webcam between February and April this year.

Sheriff Norman McFadyen was provided with lengthy reports, including psychiatric reports, relating to Rudling.

The burly pervert’s defence lawyer David Watt also explained that Rudling is on probation for attempted rape.

He will be back in the High Court to be sentenced for breaching his probation on November 15.

Mr Watt went on to say: “He acknowledges that he requires sustained work directed towards his sexual offending.

“None of these offences involved physical contact with the complainers. The web cam was on a small laptop with small blurred images on the screen. He never actually met either of the complainers.”

Rudling was previously convicted of trying to rape a woman as she slept at a party in 2007.

He was spared jail and placed on probation, but just has his appeal was thrown out of the High Court, deviant Rudling was back to his old tricks.

This week, he wasn’t as lucky.

Sheriff McFadyen jailed him for 28 months and placed him under supervision for a further two years.

Rudling, of Sandhaven Street by Dunoon, was also put on the sex offenders register and barred from contacting girls under 16 through any telecommunications means without the permission of her parents.
