GET ready for a night of amazement.

For trickster Billy Reid is taking his mind-reading and magic talent to the stage.

The show, called A Magical Moment, is on for one night only in Ayr Town Hall later this month.

Dad-of-one Billy will use members of the audience to show lots of tricks.

Billy, 36, explained: “What I do is a mixture of psychology and magic with wonderful effects.

“It’s fun, entertaining and thought-provoking.”

Triple Prediction is just one element of the show.

It is an incredible 10 minutes during which West FM DJ Billy will correctly predict which card someone will lift off a table, what someone will score in a hand of blackjack and the name of a lady’s first boyfriend.

And there’s plenty more where that came from.

Billy explained: “During Sweetie Jar I have three gentlemen on stage and they each have to try and guess how many sweets are in a jar that’s been on display all night. Without giving this all away, there’s a nice twist and a big surprise for one of the gentlemen.

“And in Telepathy Routine a couple join me on stage, I quickly connect them in their minds. The gentleman will start to pick up on what his partner’s thinking and feeling and will write down things. This i s a bit creepy towards the end, I’ve designed it that way, and is a talking point after the show.”

After a night of amazement, the crowd will be shocked by the climax.

Billy continued: “The whole show has lots of different members of the audience up but at the finish, it’s just me with a big revelation that will leave jaws on the floor. Throughout the show something else has been happening and all is revealed at the end.”

A Magical Moment is on at Ayr Town Hall on Saturday, July 31.

The show runs for around an hour and ten minutes and tickets are priced at just £6.50 available from the Citadel on 01292 294726.
