Ayr sex text couple back in court.

A SEX text couple have landed back in court over their volatile mobile phone relations.

Joyce Arkle was put on the sex offender’s register last year after she sent her partner saucy picture messages.

Now, Kevin Carson has landed in the dock for texting her abuse.

Mum of six Arkle, 36, and 40-year-old Carson, have again been ordered to keep away from each other after their fiery relationship landed them in hot water with the law for a second time.

At Ayr Sheriff Court this week, Carson pleaded guilty to sending text threats to Arkle last Saturday night.

It came two days after Arkle left the family home to stay with friends.

Carson sent her well over 20 texts which were offensive and threatening.

They included one which read: “I hate you with a passion. You’re dead. Trust me on that.”

When he was arrested, Carson told police: “I reacted to getting harassed for two days and it hasn’t been the first time.”

Carson, who has five previous convictions for assault and five convictions for breach of the peace, was charged on Sunday and spent the night in custody at Ayr police office.

Last November, when the couple split up, Arkle sent Carson saucy pictures and text messages in a bid to win him back.

But he thought she was trying to show him what he was missing and swiftly phoned police.

Despite both Carson and Arkle protesting that it was a misunderstanding, she was placed on the sex offender’s register and put on probation for a year.

In court this week, defence lawyer Peter Lockhart said: “She also sent him text messages on Saturday, including one threatening his elderly mother.

“Police are investigating and she may find herself in breach of her probation and subject to charges.”

The sheriff ordered Carson to keep away from Arkle until reports are prepared.

As he was led downstairs to be released from custody, Carson could be heard saying: “But what do I do when she’s gassed and texts me?”

Carson, of Baraclaugh Drive in Coylton, will be sentenced next month.
