MEZZO soprano Linda Finnie, who lives in Girvan, is a guest artiste for a big charity concert in Glasgow on Sunday.
The St Valentine's day concert, in the city hall, will aid the Mark Wright Project.
The charity supports ex-servicemen and women, particularly those suffering from post traumatic stress disorder, and the families of those who have been injured or killed.
Corporal Mark Wright, 27, was killed while serving with the 3rd Battalion, Parachute Regiment.
He showed extraordinary courage to enter a minefield in a bid to save the lives of others.
He was awarded a George Cross, and his parents set up a charity in his honour.
Taking part in the Greater Love concert with international star Linda are: Judith Howarth, Fiona MacDonald, Jules Tovey, Glasgow University Chamber Choir, Clydebank Male Voice Choir, and a Brass Ensemble from the RSAMD.
Concert is at 3pm, and tickets (£15) can be obtained from the City Halls Box Office on 0141 353 8000.
