CONCERN is growing for an Ayr woman who has been missing for more than a week.
Wendy Haining, 58, has not been seen since Tuesday, December 21.
The keen walker was spotted by a neighbour in her home street of Allanfield Road at noon.
Wendy, pictured above, is believed to have been wearing a dark waterproof style jacket, walking trousers and shoes.
She is described as white, roughly 5ft in height and of very slim build.
Wendy, who is a widow and lives alone, has short, dark, curly hair and has a tanned complexion.
Constable Mark Green, of Ayr police office, said: “Despite extensive enquiries, there have not been any confirmed sightings of Wendy. Her family and police are extremely concerned for her well-being.
“Wendy regularly walks along the river Ayr walk and the Auchencruive area.”
