Cumnock cops out in force over Christmas

CRIMINALS in Cumnock beware.

For cops are out in force over the festive period.

Extra officers will ensure Christmas shoppers in Cumnock and Doon Valley are safe.

Inspector Derek Ireland, of Cumnock police office, explained: “During December and over the busy Christmas and New Year period there will be extra patrols across the whole of Cumnock and Doon valley in an effort to ensure that the public can fully enjoy the festivities.

“Those extra officers will be walking or on cycles where possible and will be concentrating their efforts on preventing and detecting anti-social behaviour.”
