FANCY singing on stage with the MacDonald Brothers?
For primary school kids are being given a unique chance to star alongside the top Ayrshire duo.
The lads want a school choir to back them in their gig at Ayr Town Hall next month.
And they are offering young Post readers the chance to grab their moment in the spotlight.
Brian and Craig will line up with the chosen choir on December 18 to thrill a packed crowd in their hometown.
Brian, 22, revealed: “Our new album has two tracks which feature a school choir singing with us – and we want to recreate that on the night we play in Ayr.
“All we need is to hear demo tracks and we’ll choose the best one to come on stage with us on December 18.
“It should be a great opportunity for whoever wins, and I’m sure they’ll really enjoy their night.”
The boys have just kicked off a Scottish tour and released new album Merry Christmas, which is available to buy at their gigs.
And they believe that giving the chance to young singers is vital – as that’s how they got their break.
Brian added: “It all started for me and Craig back at Heathfield Primary, so this is a chance for other kids to get their moment to shine.
“We’ll visit the winning school to announce them as winners so they can get busy rehearsing for the gig – just like us.
“It’s just great to get the kids involved and encourage them.”
Craig and Brian will invite the children on stage to sing renditions of Silent Night and Three Cheers for Christmas – an original Macdonald Brothers track.
Any primary schools who fancy a shot should send demos of their singing to Mac Bros management before Monday, December 7.
The demos can be submitted by email, phone clips, or regular post to The Music Kitchen, 86 Causewayside, Edinburgh, EH9 1PY.
