AN Ayrshire derby is set to take place in the ring with two stars clashing in local rivalry with a difference.
Wrestlers Noam Dar and Lionheart are pledging to put on a show for grapple fans.
Noam, of Mossblown, and Lionheart, of Kilmarnock, are two of Britain’s top names on the pro-wrestling scene.
Now they’re set to do battle for Ayrshire fans desperate to see Scotland’s best.
Independent company British Championship Wrestling are staging their annual supershow in Ayrshire next week.
The company, which nurtured Ayr wrestler Drew Galloway into a global star, are promising big things for their latest talents.
A BCW spokesman said: “This promises to be a tremendous match for all our fans in Ayrshire.
“Noam and Lionheart are two of the most exciting wrestlers in Scotland – and you have the added spice of this being an all-Ayrshire clash.”
The Post revealed earlier this year how 16-year-old Noam was making a name for himself as a wrestler after moving to Mossblown from Tel Aviv.
He’s hoping to follow in the footsteps of WWE star Drew, who is now one of the top names being tipped as a future world champion in the United States.
The clash with Lionheart, widely regarded as Scotland’s leading wrestler, is set to boost his career even further.
Tickets for the event at the Grand Hall in Kilmarnock are selling fast as the wrestling roadshow appeal rolls into town.
The BCW spokesman added: “The show will also feature former WWE wrestler Paul London, which is the first time he’s wrestled independently in Scotland.
“For BCW this a big deal and it’s also a big moment for British wrestling to have Paul on one of our shows.”
The show, called No Blood No Sympathy, takes place next Saturday, December 5.
Tickets, priced £10, are available at the door on the night. Front row ringside tickets, which include a pre-show bonus match plus meet and greet with Paul London, are £20.
