DO you think you have what it takes to be a life saving firefighter?

Then get applying to be a retained fire fighter.

Strathclyde Fire and Rescue are looking for retained firefighters in South Ayrshire.

To apply, you must be over 18, physically fit and in good health with a good standard of vision and perception.

Good people skills and excellent communication skills are also essential.

Potential retained firefighters must live within five minutes of Dreghorn, Troon, Maybole or Girvan community fire stations.
