ONE of Scotland’s top businessmen is heading to Ayrshire.
Hardeep Singh Kohli will be the guest speaker at the 2010 Ayrshire chamber annual dinner.
The 40-year-old entrepreneur, famous for his wacky turbans, has turned his hand to most things.
A comedian, property developer, TV presenter and writer, Hardeep is probably most famous for his role as a roving reporter on the BBC’s The One Show.
The dad-of-two is now presenting a series on British culture on Radio 4 and writing his own column.
Announcing that Hardeep will be speaking at the dinner, Martin Cheyne, chief executive of the Ayrshire Chamber, said: “We are delighted to have secured Hardeep Singh Kohli as our guest speaker.
“This high profile Scot will bring a creative and light-hearted flavour to our annual business event.
“I am also pleased to confirm that, once again, The Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) is to be the principal sponsor of the event. I thank them for their continued support in what always proves to be the highlight of the Ayrshire business year.”
Hardeep has an extensively broad range of experience, contributing to both television and radio shows and writing his own column for the Scotsman on Sunday.
His interests run to politics, communities, corporate business culture and change management.
Tickets for the dinner, to be held at Ayr Racecourse on March 5, 2010, are available at the same price as last year.
