A BUS carrying school kids home from a disco came under attack from a group of hooded yobs.
Nobody was hurt when a window was smashed.
But the group of youngsters were left shaken.
The incident happened shortly before 10pm on Thursday, October 29.
The double decker was being driven on Dalmellington’s Merrick Drive, returning youngsters home after a Halloween party at Doon Academy.
The driver saw a group of youngsters standing at the roadside.
An object was thrown at the moving bus, which was still half full of youngsters, smashing one of the lower deck windows.
The culprits are described as approximately 15-years-old and were wearing dark-coloured hoodies.
Anyone with any information should contact PC McKenzie at Dalmellington police office on 01292 551426.
