A THUG who launched a kitchen worktop at his ex-girlfriend has admitted harassing her.
Andrew Milligan followed the terrified woman around an Ayr nightclub, despite being ordered by a court to keep away from her.
The stunt cost the 28-year-old yob his freedom – he’s been locked up for more than a month.
At Ayr Sheriff Court this week, Milligan admitted breaching the conditions of his bail.
Last month, he pleaded guilty to throwing the 2ft by 3ft wooden work surface at the windscreen of the woman’s stationary car.
Glass fragments from the smashed windscreen showered terrified Rachel Sime.
Milligan then assaulted the 23-year-old during the incident on June 7 by sitting on her, pinning her to her car seat, placing his forearm against her neck and striking her in the face with his elbow.
He was released while background reports were prepared but was warned not to approach or contact his victim.
But less than two weeks later, on September 18, at Fury Murrays nightclub in Ayr, Milligan conducted himself in a disorderly manner, repeatedly followed Miss Sime, threatened her and committed a breach of the peace.
Milligan, of Ayr’s Thorneyflat Road, was fined £550 and ordered to pay Miss Sime £250 in compensation.
He was also jailed for a total of 75 days, but his sentence was backdated so he was released this week.
