Spiderman under orders for charity run

SPIDERMAN was the first to take the starter’s position at a charity fun run.

And the super hero got everyone warmed up for the annual Ayrshire cancer support fundraiser.

Despite a windy day nearly 100 people turned out to take part.

Thanks to the Wellington Fish Shop in Ayr all entrants were rewarded with chocolate for their valiant efforts.

The next run the charity is organising is their 5k Santa Dash on Sunday, November 29.

Last year more than 200 Santa's hit the streets of Ayr to coincide with the switching on of the Christmas lights.
