A CONVICTED sex offender exposed himself to two young girls.
Vile Hugh Landsborough was ordered to stay away from girls under 16 in January this year.
But the pervert allowed two 13-year-old pals into his home for cigarettes on May 21.
He then went into his bedroom and stripped naked before walking back into the living room where the young girls were sitting.
The 49-year-old was jailed at Ayr Sheriff Court this week.
He pled guilty to using lewd, libidinous and indecent practices towards the girls at his home in Troon’s Burnfoot Ave.
He also admitted breaching an interim sex offenders prevention order prohibiting him from approaching or communicating with girls under 16.
His defence lawyer told Sheriff John Montgomery that his client has a serious alcohol problem.
He added: “These girls came calling at his door, he should have refused them entry but a friend of his let them in for cigarettes.
“The accused then went into the bedroom. He was very drunk and as the charge points out, he came out naked. He has absolutely no idea why.”
Sheriff John Montgomery sentenced Landsborough to two years behind bars and a further two years supervision.
He said: “The social enquiry report makes it absolutely clear that you are at high risk of re-offending.
“In my view there is no appropriate way of dealing with you other than by way of a custodial sentence.
“And because of what the social enquiry report says there is a need for you to be supervised on your release from prison.”
