BID for Burns on eBay at www.nts.org.uk/charityauction and help raise funds for the new Robert Burns Birthplace Museum.
All money raised from the auction will go towards reducing the final £3.8million required for the completion of the new National Trust for Scotland run Robert Burns Birthplace Museum, Alloway, scheduled to open in summer 2010.
Among the items you can bid for are private fishing rights beside the Brig o’ Doon as well as a gardening masterclass at award-winning Threave Estate along with overnight stays at National Trust for Scotland properties.
Museum director Nat Edwards said: “We have put together an exciting and diverse selection of auction items which will appeal to those looking to experience something that little bit different - whether it’s for themselves or as a gift to a friend or family member.”
The online auction is hosted through the user friendly eBay auction site ensuring an easy, straightforward and secure bidding process.
You can even experience the paranormal at mysterious Fyvie Castle, Aberdeenshire, with a ‘ghostly’ overnight stay for four in the Preston Tower and enjoy a sumptuous meal.
Or how about a gardening masterclass and overnight stay at Threave Estate in Dumfries and Galloway.
