A YOB who launched a work surface at a woman has been jailed after allegedly harassing her.
Earlier this month, Andrew Milligan admitted throwing the two foot by three foot wooden work surface at the windscreen of the woman’s stationary car.
A sheriff released the 28-year-old on bail while reports about his background were prepared.
But Milligan was warned not to approach or contact his victim.
Less than two weeks later, it is alleged that he followed her around a nightclub.
At Ayr Sheriff Court on September 8, Milligan pleaded guilty to throwing the work surface at 23-year-old Rachel Sime’s car showering her in glass fragments.
He then assaulted her during the incident on June 7 by sitting on her, pinning her to her car seat, placing his forearm against her neck and striking her in the face with his elbow.
Sheriff John Montgomery called for reports on Milligan, of Ayr’s Thorneyflat Road, and released him on bail.
But it is alleged that on September 18, at Fury Murrays nightclub in Ayr, Milligan conducted himself in a disorderly manner, repeatedly follow Miss Sime, issue threats and commit a breach of the peace.
He has now been remanded in custody for allegedly breaching his bail, which he denies.
Milligan faces trial next month.
