Streets come alive for Septembayr

THEY came from all walks of life to make the Septembayr festival a huge success.

Entertainment ranged from brass bands to magicians and street dancers.

Ayr town centre came alive as a parade down the high street showcased some of the best talent.

There was also a visit from TV characters Tam and Isa, from the popular show Still Game.

And that was just a taste of the action during a fun-packed programme of events.

It was all part of a cracking festival, which took organisers almost a year of hard work to put in place.

As our pictures show, a great time was had by all.
