Trouble and strife for councillor's message

IT’S a quirky tactic, but Bill Grant’s plea to voters upset his domestic harmony.
For the giant sticker on the back of the Grant family car was kept a secret from his lovely wife Agnes.
The South Ayrshire councillor is bidding to become an MP at next year’s general election.
He explained: “I told my wife I was getting a wee sticker for the back of the car.
“She asked ‘how big is it?’, I said ‘Och, I don’t really know.’”
But when Bill rolled up home in the Volkswagon Polo last week he had some explaining to do.
Bill continued: “Let’s just say she wasn’t fully appraised of the situation. She was somewhat perplexed and dismayed, but she’s forgiven me now.”
