IT’S the social networking site for businesses.
And bizzibox.com already looks set to be a smash success.
A trio of entrepreneurs launched the interactive online business directory earlier this year.
Alice Warrender, 26, from Ayrshire, set up the site with Tom Acton, 29, and George Owen, 27.
Alice said: “Bizzibox brings the traditional business directory into the 21st century.
“Businesses can list for free on the site and receive an advert and customisable profile page, much like Facebook.
“From here they can upload news and images and access a suite of advanced digital marketing tools.”
And the My Bizzibox Player allows businesses to add video to their Bizzibox profile page and their own websites.
Alice continued: “The My Bizzibox Player is the only affordable and professional video publishing solution on the market.
“It can be branded, customised, then easily embedded anywhere on the web – meaning businesses can control a library of video content that can be accessed and shared by their customers.
“Our aim is to become the home of online video for businesses. Video is a powerful way for businesses to communicate with their customers and increase their online traffic.
“The consumer market for online video has grown rapidly over the past couple of years, with over 80 percent of UK internet users accessing streamed video.
“We’re now starting to see this translate to businesses and Bizzibox is well positioned to meet that demand.”
Bizzibox attracts consumers by providing useful information videos delivered by top UK industry experts.
These are linked to the business listings, so a search on Bizzibox enables consumers to find relevant information on products and services and businesses in one place.
