AYR Model Railway Group holds its 33rd annual exhibition this weekend.
And it’s in the Citadel Leisure Centre on Saturday, September 19, from 10am to 5pm, and Sunday, September 20, from 10am to 4pm.
The show will feature 15 layouts, displayed by clubs from across Scotland.
There will also be trade stands, including craft tools and the Ayrshire Railway Preservation Group.
Four of the layouts will be the host club’s – Swinlees (OO gauge), Garnock (O gauge), Anvilton (N gauge), and a first appearance of new O gauge layout Kirkcudbe, based on the real railway at Kirkcudbright.
Garnock will be making its final appearance before going up for sale, but there will also be New Garnock, a replica in OO, built by Ayr member Mike Bartle.
