BALAMORY’S own fiddler is coming to Ayr.

Alistair McCulloch is one of the coutry’s most popular fiddlers.

He is the man behind the music on the CBeebies Balamory soundtrack.

And now he is launching his third solo album – Four Seasons in a Day.

Alistair is in constant demand as a performer, teacher, adjudicator and composer.

He is well known for his work with the renowned ceilidh band Coila.

He was also a soloist with the internationally acclaimed Scottish Fiddle Orchestra for several years.

Alistair has appeared on over 35 commercial albums and regularly broadcasts for the BBC. He has even been featured on Cbeebies as the fiddler on the Balamory soundtrack.

Alistair is musical director of the Ayrshire Fiddle Orchestra and Innovation and last month travelled to China with the orchestra for an unforgettable concert tour.
