MP wants your views on broadband speed

IS your broadband too slow? Then Brian Donohoe MP wants to hear from you.

He has hit out at the broadband providers who are providing a “disgraceful” service.

His comments come in the wake of a new OfCom report highlighting the poor performance of many of the UK’s broadband services.

Mr Donohoe said in parts of Ayrshire broadband services are “not merely disappointing, but disgraceful.”

He added: “While I welcome OfCom’s attempts to put pressure on providers to deliver, I would like them to devote more time to creating a level playing field across the UK, in both rural and urban areas.

“Since fast broadband speeds are part and parcel of modern business, this continued service gap is further damaging rural businesses.”
